Plasma Chemistry and Advanced Functional Materials
The Plasma Chemistry and Advanced Functional Materials Group focuses on interdisciplinary topics, especially on the experimental investigation of non-thermal plasma generated in pulsed electrical discharges, used for water decontamination, seed treatment and thin film deposition.
Plasma Surface Engineering
The Plasma Surface Engineering Laboratory (PSE) is part of the Plasma Physics and Nuclear Fusion Department of the National Institute for Laser, Plasma and Radiation Physics in Bucharest-Măgurele. The group is mainly involved in research projects funded by the Romanian Ministry of Education and Research and the European Commission under the EUROfusion program.
Plasma Theory Group
The Plasma Theory Workshops are a series of meetings aimed at improving the understanding of various aspects of plasma physics, both fundamental and applied. These meetings provide the opportunity to compare different approaches and formulations, to identify new solutions, and to develop references that can be used as starting points for future investigations.
