ISS has interests in the fields of astrophysics, space engineering and gravity.
Currently, INFLPR is a member of the EURATOM association, a partner in Extreme Light Infrastructure (ELI), a partner in LASERLAB Europe, ALICE, and leads projects funded by the EU, NATO and other national and international organizations.
INFLPR's research programs are at the forefront of Romanian research and technology in the field of lasers, plasma and electron accelerators.
The Institute aims to provide new knowledge and solutions for industry and society in general in its areas of expertise.
The main research areas are supported by national and international programs in which INFLPR participates very actively.
