INFLPR is constantly concerned with ensuring a high level of protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data it carries out in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons.

Legal basis

As of 25 May 2018, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) came into force, repealing Directive 95/46/EC. The legal basis for the storage, processing or publication of personal data on the INFLPR website is Article 6 of the GDPR. The INFLPR website may collect and process various types of data, including personal data.

Purpose of the data processing operations

The purpose of the data processing operations is to ensure the proper organization / management / conduct of the action / meeting / event / course / contract in question organized by INFLPR, at the institute's headquarters or at other locations. Actions / meetings / events / courses / contracts include internal / external meetings, workshops, information sessions, conferences, seminars, expert meetings, visits and other aspects related to the activity of INFLPR. 2 The organization / conduct of actions / meetings / events / courses / contracts includes the management of participant and correspondence lists for contacts, invitations, reports (their distribution), feedback, photos / images, presentations, live web streaming and / or audio and video recording of speakers and participants, news and publications, including on the INFLPR website.

Processed data

The data necessary for the organization / management / implementation of actions / meetings / events / courses / contracts are the name, surname, profession, place of work, postal and electronic address, telephone / fax number. Live web streaming and / or audio - video recordings of speakers and participants, as well as speaker presentations could be recorded and published in the context of the implementation and / or promotion of actions / meetings / events / courses, etc.

Data recipients

The recipients of your data may be: the organizer of the action / meeting / event / course / project (designated organizational team members), personnel with responsibilities in organization and implementation, including security officers and other partners and subcontractors, on behalf of INFLPR, the general public (in the case of data published on the INFLPR website). The information provided may be disclosed to third parties if required by law.

Server Logging

The following data is recorded in the server logs: IP address, time of request, destination address, volume of data transferred, user notification of the subsequent request, browser and operating system used, as well as the website from which the request was initiated (if the website was accessed via a link). The data is used only to ensure system security. Personal data is neither analyzed nor used to create user profiles. We will only transmit data used for website administration if we suspect an attack or illegal access to our network infrastructure, in which case we will communicate security data to investigate and resolve the issue.

Cookies are small text files stored on users' computers that allow the website to recognize users' devices in the future when they return to the website. The information contained in cookies is mainly used to manage web sessions, as well as to personalize the website and make it easier to use. This allows us to optimize our website. Creation of user profiles

The privacy policy on social networks and the protection of personal data on social networks are very important to us. We will not create any personally identifiable profiles. INFLPR uses Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, as well as other online platforms. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that these multimedia providers store user data (such as personal data or IP address), in accordance with their data usage instructions, and use it for commercial purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, transfer data, withdraw consent and object to the use of your personal data. If you believe that the processing of your data violates the legal provisions on data protection or that your rights have been violated in any other way, you can file a complaint with the supervisory authority.
In Romania, this is the National Supervisory Authority for the Processing of Personal Data (ANSPDCP). INFLPR is responsible for the processing of personal data to which it has access.
