Researchers' Night 2020

2020 is the International Year of Sound, an area of great importance for the evolution of scientific and technological applications in modern society. On November 27, 2020, the event "European Researchers' Night" will take place in Romania, under the motto "Doing Research at Midnight in Romania - DoReMi-RO", emphasizing with this initiative both research activities and technological development, identities combined through sounds and music. In the current epidemic context, all activities will take place online.

The event promotes and disseminates results of Romanian research among young people. The general objective of the project is to raise public awareness of the results of research obtained through experiments, involving participants in a scientific project of citizens, through which researchers and the public work together.

The DoReMi-RO event will be implemented at national level by the 15 project partners, in the cities of Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Constanța, Craiova, Iași, Timișoara, Sibiu and Suceava and through the partners associated in the event in cities such as Baia Mare, Brașov , Buzău, Călărași, Fălticeni, Huedin, Jibou, Lugoj, Măgurele, Miercurea Ciuc, Oradea, Piatra Neamț, Pitești, Ploiești, Roșiorii de Vede and Tecuci.
