The invention relates to an educational kit intended to be used for studying the use of ultrasounds for obtaining the image of an object. According to the invention, the educational kit comprises an ultrasound emission-reception module () which generates ultrasound pulses () reflected by an object () to be investigated and received as reflected pulses (), where the said module () can be displaced in a vertical plane, parallel to the object () to be investigated, according to a raster-type scanning method, in order to determine the distance between the emission-reception module () and the points of the object () to be investigated which are scanned with an ultrasound beam, for some successive positions () and, by correlating the positions of the emission-reception module () with the distances between them and some points on the object () to be investigated, an image of this object can be processed.
